I happen to be a member of a local Buy Nothing Facebook group. If you haven’t checked those out, please do – we have seven different ones in DC alone, for different neighborhoods, and they allow you to post items you want to find homes for, and vice versa. Kindof like Freecycle and the free section of Craigslist – but easier if you are already on Facebook.
Anyway, because Annette I had just written an article about Recirculating Stuff to help save on emissions, I was asked to join Cory Chow, a founder of a local DC Buy Nothing group, as a guest on the Kojo Nnamdi Show. Check it out when you have a chance. You’ll learn more about Buy Nothing and similar groups – and their great benefits.

Oh, and I also gave my first Climate Steps invited presentation, to a utility company no less, also in November. Looks like I’m going public now!
