I am past a work deadline and can catch up some more on adventures during 2016.  Here is Santa Fe – a gorgeous landscape and an incredible art community.  Wonderful, yet financially quite humbling – as most good artwork was $500 or more (I did buy a sculpture less than that, and I love it.) But the paintings that I really loved were in the $20,000s.  (Encaustics.)  How can one afford that? 

Then I wandered the Bandelier National Monument to the northwest of Santa Fe, and saw nature’s gorgeous art and the U.S.’s incredible human history, for $20.
